ST-Koneistus has calculated its full carbon footprint!

We didn’t have to — but we did anyway: ST-Koneistus has calculated its full carbon footprint!

The result is a complete Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon footprint (CO2eq), covering the greenhouse gas emissions from our operations. In addition, we have defined our Scope 4 avoided emissions — the so-called carbon handprint — which describes the positive climate impacts created through our operations. The calculation, verified by CRNet Oy, includes our purchases, energy use and employee commuting.

We are also pleased to offer our customers product-specific carbon footprint data by material type, calculated per kilogram of material used, which is available on request.

To reduce our footprint, ST-Koneistus uses carbon-neutral energy, selects low-emission materials and service providers, favors sustainable mobility, and continuously improves our recycling rate.
