We actively invest in the development of our production.
High-quality production facilities and a diverse machine portfolio
Our production consists of an extensive machine portfolio, which includes more than 30 machining centers, CNC lathes, robot cells, pallet containers, and an FMS system.
In addition, we use the Palletech system, which is particularly effective in the manufacture of short special series. We currently have three Mazak HCN-6800 machining centers connected to our Palletech system.
Palletech is also combined with the ToolHive tool magazine, which offers 330 additional tool slots in addition to the magazines of the machining centres. In total, the system contains more than 800 tools that can be cross-utilized in the production series of each machine.
What is the efficiency of the Palletech system based on?
- In repetitive series, set-up times are short and production runs around the clock.
- The system allows programming of 32 jobs into the queue, after which the products are completed unmanned.
- The system has an option for two more machining centers.
- With five machining centers, it is possible to program up to 68 different serial jobs into the queue.
Cleaning of products
All hydraulic manifolds manufactured by ST-Koneistus are cleaned with Kennametal TEM-P350 deburring machine, which is an efficient method for producing high-quality burr-free products.
The machine, which utilizes compressed air technology, cleans all internal and external surfaces of the products in one treatment. The manifolds are then stored in an area isolated from the production facilities, from where they are sent to the customer.
